Day Care

Hospice tries to meet all the needs of all our patients and their families. Physical/ Emotional/ Social/ Spiritual.

Every Wednesday, between 9.00am and 12.00pm, our “well” patients are collected from their homes by our volunteer transporters. Our Day-Care coordinator as well as our Community Home Based Carers, help with our Day Care patients on a Wednesday.

Day Care gives our patients an opportunity to socialize, share with other patients, play games, have educational talks, arts and crafts as well as cooking demonstrations.

The patients have free access to our Social Worker. The Sisters see all the patients and arrange for them to be seen by our Hospice Doctor, if necessary.
